About Baiters! | Slag Bait

About me, in a nutshell!

Couple years ago I heard some SEO experts talking about slag bait. Some examples would be here and here. I thought it was a pretty cool word and would eventually catch on, so I bought it. I’ve had the name for a couple years but haven’t done anything with it…until now. I’ve had Dragon speak for couple years now and have sadly never used it and I think it’s about time I tried out both, Dragon Speak and Slag Bait. Here’s my problem, I can’t write, I am lazy, unfocused, and don’t have very many friends in the real world, much less online. I am a high school dropout and I’m not a writer. I am a Slag Baiter.
You see slag is the hot metal that bines two objects together. Like strong glue that holds chairs, walls, tractors etc. together. Kind of like a blogger that holds a community together. Slag baiting is baiting that blogger or forum poster into a debate. You’ve got to know enough about the topic to carry on and debate with real writers who are really knowledgeable on a subject. If you’re losing you want to bail out fast and if you’re winning you want to stay just long enough to prove your point. Keep in mind that chances are you will not only be debating the writer but the community as well.

You’re going head up with some of the most influential people in that industry and trying to give an alternative view point to just about anything they say. We can use all kinds of bait and we can try and catch just about anything. What I want to catch is the attention of the influential people in the industry, I decide to target. Then I want to bait the people in that community into giving me links and free traffic.

Let’s see if I am good enough to be a Slag Baiter!
